The main spokesperson that promotes the zone diet is Dr. Barry Sears, he is also the person that created the diet
If you are on the zone diet they don’t restrict any foods but they do say you shouldn’t have anything with sugar in it, they also recommend taking omega-3 and Polyphemus supplements
