ZOOS SIGNIFICANCE IN LIFE OF PI

• It was because of the transportation of the zoo that Pi got stranded

How a hotel came to be in Pondicherry



-Pi's dad was a hotel owner and for his next business he opened a zoo.

"My father was a hotel owner, so it was only natural for him to open a zoo"-Pi

Pi used the knowledge he gained from growing up on a zoo to survive. For example he knew how much food the animals eat each day, therefore he knew how much he had to feed them so that they wouldn't attack him.

"I was a very good student, if I may say so myself. I was tops at St. Michael's college four years in a row. I got every possible award from the Department of Zoology.
