"I have a rendezvous with death"
Is poem was about death. Rendezvous means a scheduled meeting. And the repeated line throuout the poem was " I have a rendezvous with death"
This poem expressed the feeling of knowing death was near .
This poem to me tells me that Alan Seeger was kind of depressed and had no hope of winning the war.
