- half of a circle. The formula for the area of a semicircle is A=1/2 r2.

- the distance around a circle.

- area of the region enclosed by the circle.

Diameter
- the he distance across a circle through its center.

- the distance from the center of a circle to any point on the circle.

- a straight line that connects 2 points on a curve.

- the point from which all points on circle are the same distance.

- the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. The greek letter represent this number. The value of Pi is 3.1415926..Approximation
For pi are 3.14 and 22/7.

- an equation that shows the relationship among certain quantities.
