The OSU Department of Theatre's 2011 production of The Camouflage Project: a multimedia devised project based on true stories of women Allied spies during World War II. The OSU Dept. of Theatre collaborated with ACCAD (Advanced Computing Center for Arts and Design) to create a show with motion capture, projection, and other video elements to tell the stories of the unsung heroes of World War II.

The OSU Department of Theatre collaborated again with ACCAD in the 2014 production of There is No Silence, a devised piece about the great French mime Marcel Marceau. As in The Camouflage Project, There is No Silence made use of motion capture technology and the integration of live movement and video projections to create a fantastical theatre piece about the most famous mime of the 20th century.

The Wexner Center for the Performing Arts is one of the nation's leading contemporary galleries and performance spaces. It brings in cutting edge artists, musicians, filmmakers, and theatre performers from around the world. Located on the OSU Columbus campus, it is truly a great resource to the university and Columbus community.

In 2011 The Wexner Center brought the contemporary theatre company The Builders Association to the OSU campus to premiere their production of House/Divided, a multimedia theatre piece about the 2008 housing crisis.

Another production brought to Columbus through the Wexner Center was the 2010 production of The Great War, by Dutch theatre company Hotel Modern. Hotel Modern makes innovative use of puppets and real time video recordings to recreate the horrific battle scenes of World War I.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime recently opened on Broadway, and features multimedia technology to help tell the story of a young man with Asperger's conditions who is trying to solve the mystery of a murdered dog.
