WHAT IS AN 'EDIBLE WATER BOTTLE'?

It is a 'bottle' made with a seaweed extract called sodium alginate.

Ingredients:
-Beverage with Sodium Alginate
-Tap water with Calcium Chloride
-Tap water

HOW DOES IT HELP?

It reduces the use of plastic.

The United States uses about 50 billion plastic water bottles each year, which requires 17 million barrels of oil. Sadly, less than a quarter of that plastic will get recycled. If you don’t want to be stuck carrying around a water bottle when you’re done taking a drink, why not make a container you can eat?

Also, it is biodegradable, meaning it will take a short time to break down and will not turn into harmful chemicals.
