I liked this book because....
It was about a boy who had to live with his grandparents on a farm. Then he he decided to run away because he didn't want to live on the farm.
His grandparents had a son that died. So he used his clothes and shotgun to run away with. Before he decided to run away there was a dog that wondered up to the farm that he took with him to fetch the doves he shot.
If you want to find out more read the book your self. I promise you will like it.
