FORENSIC SCIENCE TECHNICIAN
Investigates crimes by collecting and analyzing physical evidence
Ex. Weapons, clothing, shoes, fibers, hair, body tissues, blood, body fluids, fingerprints, chemicals, vapors in the air

-proficient in the use of laboratory equipment and computers
-adept at preparing reports, compiling statics, and testifying in trials or hearings
-good under pressure, good visual and critical thinking, ability to be calm at all times, persuasiveness

-most state's do not have licensing or registration requirements
-certification can be obtained from the American Society for Clinical Pathology
-must meet proficiency levels est. by national accreditation associations for criminal labs

-associates degree(Darton college) $84 per credit hour (in state student)
-Masters degree (Albany state univ.) $6,337 (on-campus) $11,278 (off-campus)
-Bachelors degree (north ga college and state univ.) $8,355 per semester

There are many places for a forensic science technician to get a job, such as FBI, police dept., hospitals, and private investigators.
Number six
There are 12,900 jobs now, but there will be a 6% increase over the next 10 years. The jobs would be ~13,674 by 2022. The rate is slower then average.
Number seven
Forensic science techs wages vary from state to state. Washington D.C. Paying the most at $85,390 a year. Georgia bring where i want to live/work pays only 54,000 a year.
Number 8
They work in all types of weather. They spend lots of time in labs and offices. They work with other teams, police, other special groups. They experience large amounts of travel. Crime happens everywhere so they are always on a plane or traveling in vehicles to cities, states, and even countries (especially on the federal level).
