The Problem

Lack of sleep for parents and their babies is a huge problem. most parents get up four or five times a night to comfort their babies. This means much less sleep for both parents and less quality sleep for the baby.

The Product!
Sleep Tight Soother

A cry activated baby soother! What makes this product special from all the rest is its advanced soothing technology. There are two pieces of the soother much like a baby monitor. The main component sits by or above the baby's crib, while the other sits in the parents room. Parents preload the soother with sounds of their voice, conversations among themselves, or songs sung by the parents. The soother has two modes, a fuss mode and a cry mode. When the baby begins fussing or starts to unsettle, the soother will play the preloaded tracks of the parents having a conversation or just the sound of their own voice. If the baby begins to cry, the soother plays the tracks of the parents singing a lullaby. If both of these fail, the component in the parents room will alert the parents that the baby is unsettled. Thus allowing them to calm the baby on their own. The idea behind this is to maximize sleep for everyone in the house.

The Plan

The plan is to have a Sleep Tight Soother in every nursery in the world. This product gives parents two very important luxuries, more sleep, and peace of mind knowing their children are sleeping just as well as they are.
The business model. Because this is our first product we have two choices in how we pursue this venture. The first avenue we could take is to pitch the idea to a mogul in the baby industry such as Babies R Us. Get them to buy the patent from us and cash out instantly. The other avenue we could take would be to start up the company ourselves.
The Money.
It would take a substantial amount of money in order to jump start this business. First we would need to find investors to give us 1,000,000 dollars for manufacturing costs, space rent for a headquarters, and marketing. The product would be manufactured for around 15.00 and sold easily for 50.00 dollars. With the large market that always continues to grow and replenish itself we know that this business venture would be a highly successful one. Thank You!
