PRESENTATION OUTLINE

ACCELERATION

  • A change in speed and direction
  • When you get to the top there is a change in direction and speed
  • You go faster as you go down the drop off.
  • The change in direction is going up the hill than going down the hill.

CENTRIPETAL FORCE

  • A force that causes an object to move in a circle.
  • This coaster moves in a circle.
  • This is moving in a circle
  • This moves in a circle because it has enough force to go and ride on the loop.

ENERGY CONVERSION

  • A prosses of changing one from the energy into a nother.
  • This changes into diffrent energy's.
  • There is PE also KE located in this coaster.

FORCE

  • A lift push or pull
  • This is a big force because it is big and fast
  • This coaster is a big mass

FREE FALL

  • When gravity is the only force acting on a object.
  • This is a big free fall that is probley gunna be a narky ride.
  • There is nothing pushing down on the object.

FRICTION

  • The force that one surface exerts
  • One another when the two surfaces
  • Rub agents each other
  • This is a very big source of friction
  • This looks like it has a little bit of friction because it is not a rough thing to ride on.

NEWTONS SECOND LAW

  • If this roller coaster had less people or no people it would go faser.
  • The coaster has a big force and a big mass.
  • So that means if the coaster had no peple it would have more speed
  • Because the bottom of the cart dosent put a lot of friction and presure on the track.

GRAVITY

  • A force that pulls objects towards earth.
  • This coaster is pulled to the earth so it will not leave the earth.
  • It is like Newtons 1st law
  • Object in earth tens to stay in earth

KINETIC ENERGY

  • The energy of motion
  • This coaster is in motion so it is KE
  • The most KE is locaded at the end of the coaster before it starts slowing down.

PATENTIAL ENERGY

  • Energy that is stored and readiess
  • This coaster has potential energy
  • It has PE because it is at the top of the hill and not moving for a slight second.

MOMENTUM

  • A product of an object's mass and velocity
  • This roller coaster has the a lot of velocity and a big
  • mass. This coaster will get a lot of momentum when it goes down the drop off.

NEWTON'S THIRD LAW

  • For every action the is a equal or
  • Oppisate reaction
  • This coaster is pushing on the track and the
  • track is pushing back on the coaster

VELOCITY

  • Speed with direction
  • This coasters velocity is on the curve
  • It is changing direction and picking up speed
