• They traveled from France to England

Norman Invasion

• William the Conqueror was a key leader
• The Normans were able to be successful by creating military
• strongpoints, a government and court, etc.
• The battle of Hastings was a key battle, along with the Battle of Fulford,
• and the Battle of Stamford Bridge

End

• There were rebellions over the following years and England was not 
• secure until after 1072
• The land was different
• There was a resisment called the English elite
