  • Get in mixed teams of 3 (or 4)
  • Pick one person as a scribe
  • The Scribe numbers and writes questions
  • The Scribe can contribute too.
  • I will keep the time.  (7-8 minutes)

  • Ask as many Qs as you can
  • Do NOT stop to answer or discuss Qs
  • Write Qs EXACTLY as stated.
  • Change Statements into Qs

Categorize all your questions now as closed (C) or open (O).
If you are unsure, discuss with your team
(3 Minutes)

Now, if possible, change the open questions to closed and vice versa.

Hints

  • Open - Why? How?
  • Closed - Is? Do? Can?
  • Both - What? Who? Where? When?

Prioritize

  • Each team picks 3 most important Qs
  • Which Qs help us to research DEEPLY into the Qfocus
  • Come to an agreement and write the three questions on the Post-it paper. (Protect the table top please)
  • Be ready to EXPLAIN your choice.

Display

  • Write "QFocus: Dynamic Earth & Natural Disasters" at the top and Underline it.
  • Write the 3 questions (Spelling and grammar count!)
  • Write your team names at the bottom.
  • Post on the wall.
  • Clean your area.
