INTRODUCTION

  • They shed a LOT of fur in the summer.
  • Why are wolves afraid of humans?

DESCRIPTION

  • Wolves travel in packs to 40 to more than 400sq miles.
  • They mean no harm to people.
  • Their fur is really thick.
  • Their ears help them hear incredibly good.

  • Dens
  • Ground holes
  • In snow dens during winter
  • Live near lakes

ADAPTATIONS

  • Hunt for elk,deer,foxes,moose,and beaver.
  • They need thick fur to keep warm in the winter.
  • They need to find a peaceful home during mating season.
  • Need to protect their cubs from other type of animal/mammals or wolves.

CONCLUSION

  • I learned that when wolves are fighting and starving at the same time they can eat each other.
  • I also learned that their toes is what makes them run faster.
  • Wolves are related to the dog family Canidae and live in the wild.
