PRESENTATION OUTLINE
1) Divergent: Veronica Ross
In the book Divergent, society is divided into factions by their aptitude and value. There's Candor (the honest), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), Erudite (the intelligent), and Abnegation (the selfless). In this world, there's a girl named Tris Prior, but when she must choose her faction, she realizes there's a lot more to the groups, then anyone can suspect. Join her, and go into a world of choices, action, survival, and just a bit of romance.
2) Cinder: Marissa Meyer
When Cinder's stepmother "volunteers" her for plague research, furious that her daughter Peony had gotten Letumosis, Cinder shows an immunity to it. She learns that she was turned into a cyborg at age 11, brought to her Stepmothers house with his husband, and soon after, Adri (her stepmothers) husband had died. When she meets Prince Kai, and fixes his android, he asks her to the ball, but Cinder declines. However, when she finds a vital piece of information for the safety of the country, she must go to the ball. Nothing that bad could happen... Right?
3) The Selection: Keira Cass
The selection is a chance of a lifetime for 34 girls. They get to escape their laid out life plan that they could never change. Gowns, tiaras, talk shows, and getting to compete for the lovely Prince Maxon's heart. But, to America Singer, is awful. Leaving behind a forbidden romance with her childhood best friend Aspen, who is a caste below her, she has enter a world of pearls, glitter, and giggling, and fight for a crown she doesn't want. But then she meets the famous Prince Maxon. And she's beginning to realize that this future that was never possible, is so much better than the life she'd always envisioned.
