Biography

  • Born at New York City in August 28, 1774.
  • Died from tuberculosis, at Emmittsburg, Maryland in January 4, 1821.
  • Feast day is on January 4
  • Lost her mother at the age of 3.
  • Fluent in French, great musician, and an accomplished horsewoman.

Biography

  • In 1794, Elizabeth married a wealthy man named William Magee Seton and gave birth to two kids. Anna Maria and Willy.
  • Early life was quiet, simple and often lonely. When she grew older the Bible became her support and comfort.
  • Patron of death of children, loss of parents and widows.

  • Born into a wealthy Episcopalian family, and she was raised in New York at the late 18th century.
