  • They have gills
  • Gills take water into the fish and passes through
  • the blood vessels and it take oxygen from the water in to the blood
  • Scales
  • Scales are thin, see through, and bendable plates that over lap each other that protect the fish

  • They have fins
  • Fins are flat arms for the fish that help it swim
  • Tail
  • A tail is also a fin but in the back and it helps the fish swim

  • Fur: it is hair that covers the body

  • Diaphragm: a muscle inside the chest cavity that helps mammals breath better
  • Warm blooded: They get their heat from energy that gets into their cells and burns food

  • Babies hatch from eggs: a baby emerges from an egg that the mom hatched
