Mostly freshwater living lakes rivers and ponds. They can better Tolerate saltwater cause they Have salt glands that filter out salt
Have more webbing on their back feet
Have a much higher aggression levels
Biggest recorded croc was 20.24' long and weighed 2,379 pounds

SQUAMATA
These are scaled reptiles
Largest order of reptiles comprising of lizards, and snakes
Can move their jaws relative to their braincase
Range from 16mm to 6.6m
Have hemipenes that are everted for reproduction

TESTUDINES
Lay their eggs on land and return to the water
Largest tortoise is the leatherback reaching weights of 2000 lbs
Thought to have night vision do to the number of rod cells in their retinas
Upper and lower jaws have horny ridges instead of teeth
Very intelligent better at navigating than white rats and are social creatures

SPHENODONTIA
Also known as rhynchocephalia, are an offshoot from the true lizards and snakes
Only one living genus and species, the tuatara
They are greenish brown and gray in color
Can measure up to 31inches and weigh up to 2.9lbs
No external ear and a photoreceptive eye 2rows of teeth on top jaw 1 on bottom
