  • In Bunol, Valencia
  • Its typically a war of ripe tomatoes.
  • People just do it for fun
  • Everyone gets hit with tomatoes no matter what

CARNIVAL OF SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE

  • It's held in February of each year.
  • Festival in Brazil that features costumes & colors.
  • It takes months of preparation for costumes & floats

SAN FERMIN

  • July 6-14
  • It's in every corner of Pamplona
  • This is where the running of the bulls takes place
  • Thousands of people run from the bulls for fun!

SEMANA SANTA

  • One of the most important festivals in Spain
  • It celebrates the final days of Christ on Earth
  • It takes place on the week leading to Eastern Sunday
  • The climax of the celebration is Good Friday

AÑO NUEVO

  • Takes place Jan. 1st
  • Its a spanish New Years Eve
  • Its like ours because they have the same traditions.

Our favorite festival is Tomatina. We like this festival because it seems so much fun and there is nothing else like it.
