Over Population

Untitled Slide

One billion teenagers are just entering their reproductive years - The largest "youthquake" ever. The world is growing by more than 76 million people a year. At the current rate of growth, even accounting for a continual decrease in the growth rate, the world population is headed for double digits within 50 years. Every 20 minutes, the world adds another 3,500 human lives but loses one or more entire species of animal or plant life - at least 27,000 species per year.

Almost half of the global population is under the age of 25 and their decisions during their reproductive years will determine whether we have 8 billion or 14 billion people by 2100.

World Hunger

The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization estimates that nearly 870 million people of the 7.1 billion people in the world, or one in eight, were suffering from chronic undernourishment in 2010-2012

Children are the most visible victims of undernutrition. Children who are poorly nourished suffer up to 160 days of illness each year.

SOLUTION

So kids, I'm sure you're all familiar with 'The Purge'. If you haven't seen it, well, sucks.
Our solution to the previously shown problems is an actual purge.
Crazy- right?

Wrong.
Having a purge once a year would decrease the number of people (by like a lot).
Thus fixing, the over population. By lowering population, there would be more resources for everyone. Also, fixing world hunger.
