CBS REFRESHMENT SHOP

• Our shop will include =
• Milkshakes
• Ice cream
• Pancakes

SUMMARY

• We first brainstormed up two ideas which were the refreshment shop and a soccer tournament and chose the refreshment shop
• We then came up with a number of products we could include and then cut it down to three
• We then Found out about our competition which are the local gala and shops in town
• We found out if the Refreshment shop would be unique in our school and found that we were unique as there was not a shop like this in the school before
• We then came up with a survey ve to find out what price we will charge , what toppings and flavours we will include and what size the products will be
• We made bar charts for the results of the serve to give us an idea of what flavours etc will be preferred-bar charts will be included at the end
• We then decided what ingredients etc we will need etc
• Then we made a logo for the refreshment shop

THE FOUR P’S

• Product=
• Our refreshment shop will include three products which are milkshakes ,ice cream and pancakes
• The products will be made as they are ordered they won’t be pre-made
• The products will be made by our group (students)

PRICE=

• Each one of our products will be €2.50
• In the survey we got results and most people said €2 and some €2.50 ,we went with €2.50 to try make a good profit

PLACE=

• The business will be ran in our school and will set up a small stall

PROMOTION=

• We will put posters up around the school
• We will give out free samples on the first day
• There will be an announcement on the intercom in school about the stall
• We will also make a loyalty card ,after buying a certain amount of products you get one free

BACKGROUND TO THE BUSINESS

• C.b.s refreshment shop will be a shop set up in our school for students and staff
• Our aim is to sell quality liked and tasty refreshments such as milkshakes,ice cream and pancakes

TEAM

• Our team is four students keanan ,Ben,Kieran and David if business is successful more may be added to the team
• Each one of the four students will have a say in the business as it will be a partnership ran business

MARKET AND MARKETING

• Our market is students in our school which is about 500-600 students
• There is no other refreshment shop in the school currently

PRODUCTION

• We will have a stall with equipment such as milkshake machine and microwave etc

COSTINGS AND FINANCE

• We have no loans
• We may need to get a loan to buy supplies around €300 and will repay with profit
• Survey will give us an idea of how much people are interested and how much they would pay ,we then may be able to make up an estimate of profit we may make
