I am a librarian at Indiana University East and have been since 1995. My role has been varied:Instruction, Leadership, E-Resources and now moved to be an Emerging Technologies Librarian...and all the little tasks that keep a library moving forward. I guide people through the discovery of new information.
Evaluation is an important part of everyday life. The dominance of the Internet in our daily lives, encourages all users of the Internet to look at the kinds and forms of information available. The Internet, by providing sites, book & article access, infographics, videos, and other formats, helps the information viewer consume information. Looking at bias, credentials, value, and content helps individuals make decisions in regard to the information provided.
