PRESENTATION OUTLINE
I is for Ignorant
People in this society are very ignorant. If they don't like something, burn it. They don't even know that the world is crumbling down around them. All they can see it the tv. I guess what they say is true. Ignorance is bliss.
J is for Jabber
People in this society just jabber. They don't think about what they say, if people are talking about something, they will talk about it mindlessly. Also they don't have opinions. For the election, they based their vote off of how attractive they are.
K is for Kerosene
Kerosene is the devil of this society. This evil fluid causes books to burn and sucks away knowledge. This could be the leading cause, it inspires people to burn anything they don't like and to just whisk their worries away.
L is for Lunatic
Guy is going crazy. All after he saw the lady kill herself over her books he has discovered a new found interest. Reading books. He has gone to Faber and they are planning to set the world back on track.
M is for Murder
People are very afraid of firemen. Not because they look scary or big and mean, because they murder. People with books get murdered because they own and read books, which is illegal.
N is for Narcisus
When Mildred is talking to Guy about the books, she says that her favorite subject is herself. People in this society are very narcissist. They don't care about anybody else because they want themselves to have fun and be happy.
O is for Obvious
When Guy realized that the society that he lived in was very horrible. He then realized that books are not a bad thing and they should be a form of entertainment. When he meets Faber he inspires him to see the world this way, and he realized that it was obvious all along.
P is for Plot Twist
After Guy goes and sees Faber, he meets with Captain Beatty. While this meeting the bells go off for a call to burn a house. This time, Captain Beatty drives the fire truck, which is not normal. When they pull up to the address, it is Guy Montags house. If he wasn't nervous before, now he really is because his house is about to be burned down. They now know for sure that he has books at his house.
Q is for Question
When Guy meets Faber he makes him question everything he has every known. When he meets the woman in the house makes him question if books are worth dying for. Also when Captain Beatty meets with him at the firehouse he questions if he should go through with his plan to burn fire mans houses.
